Left 4 Dead

What a wierd game name isn’t it? Well, its one of the BEST games ever! This game is created by Valve Software, the creators of Half-Life and Half-Life 2, which were both, phenomenal hits worldwide. And i mean PHENOMENAL HITS. Haha. Anyway, the game involved 4 heroes that bend together to survive after the city they’re in succumbed to a horrible infection that turned everyone into zombies. 

These zombies are unique though, they are not the slow-walking, brainless nooberheads that you see in movies. These zombies RUSH at you, in groups of 30-40 or more. HAHA. You have a choice of shotguns, Uzis, M16s and sniper rifles. Well, survival isn’t it? Big infection calls for Big guns. Haha. There are 4 campaigns in the game, and each campaign has 5 chapters. From first look, it seems like this game is rather short. Though, when you actually start playing it, you’ll get the point. Haha. My record for finishing a campaign is 53 mins. Haha. Yup.

The physics of this game are similar to that of Half-Life 2 and Counter-Strike Source, thanks to Valve’s Source engine, which works wonderfully. Haha. It has always been my dream to play a zombie based FPS, Land of the Dead, failed miserably. Compared to Left 4 Dead, its like the heavens and the ground, literally. Left 4 Dead, no doubt short, has redefined zombie based shooters.
